Snow...more snow!!!

As much as I hate freezing cold weather, I am very happy that winter is finally here. Living & working in a place like Whistler, snow is a must in winter since it mean "busy-business" for everybody. So hopefully the snow will keep on going since the mountain is already open for skiers, snowboarders & tourists from all over the world. Got my paycheck today & it really sucks that's why I'm praying for more snow so that this winter season will be busy again like what we usually have before November comes (its the slowest season of the year, lots of vacation, yey! but paycheck sucks...grrrrr!!!) Anywho, i love watching snow & maybe I'll go out later to play with it & make a snow angel......lol

Falsies Collective Haul

So above are the false eyelashes that I've got last week & the one with 10 pairs in the box I got them today from the mail box, I bought it from ebay. Since I'm not yet an expert in applying falsies I decided to get it just so I can practise more with out getting broke, imagine $7 for 10 pairs of natural-looking falsies wow that's really a great deal. Bellow are my attempts of wearing falsies when we were in Vancouver & I think I did a pretty good job for a beginner, what do you think? What's more great is it dint fell off until I get how & take off my makeup, how long? I think the longest was 9 hrs, must be the Duo adhesive that I used, its waterproof (the blue one is the regular one, non waterproof)

Smashbox Light Foundation Primer

I always wanted to have a great quality foundCheck Spellingation primer, so in my search for a cheaper version I tried the Rimmel Fix & Perfect one, its really good in keeping my makeup but then again it dint do anything at all to control the oiliness on my t-zone, it normally shows up 1 or 2 hours after applying my makeup. I heard alot of fuzz about the Monistat Chafing Gel & here in Canada its a bit expensive than Rimmel but then again it keeps my face matte for 4 hours & it really makes my makeup so flawless & almost perfect, but after using it for a couple of day straight, I found out that it does makes my skin break out specially at the lower chin area since I only normally have pimples before having my period but with Monistat I really get a couple of them & boy some of them are really nasty since it creates a bump & is noticeable even underneath makeup, so no more Monistat for me (I hate it!) Finally I found my holly grail foundation primer in Smashbox Light foundation primer, no break-out & it have a great oil control formula for 7-8 hours (at least for me, i love it!)
.

What it Claims:

This silky blend of vitamins and antioxidants helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and pores for visibly softer skin and can be worn alone or under foundation to increase its longevity. The revolutionary formula has oil absorbers for a smooth matte finish all day, light diffusers to minimize the appearance of imperfections, and vitamin C and peptides to help even skin tone and promote collagen production for a flawless future. In a new square airless pump for freshness to the last drop! "

Ingredients:
Water, Cyclopentasiloxane, Polysilicone-11, Butylene Glycol, Ethylene/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Carbomer, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Triethanolamine, Decyl Glucoside, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Hexylene Glycol, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Oligopeptide-10

Pros:

-Great oil-controlling formula for up to 7 hours (based on my experience)

-Easy pump top (you don't have to squeeze & waste product)

-Makes mmu application smooth & stress free
-Little goes a long way

.Cons:

-Pricey (gosh $45 is really alot but still worth it)

-Only 30ml though

.Will you buy it again?

-You bet I will!

.Will you recommend this to a friend?

-Yes, for sure, unless my friend is budget conscious :b

My Rate: 4 Kisses, just because its pricey, but other than that, its great!

Gear up for Snow!

,
One of my main goal when we were in Vancouver is to buy a good quality winter boots to keep my feet warm if ever it gets -15 degrees Celsius again. My hubby always told me to get Sorel's boots like the one that he have for quite some time now & still works great like brand new. So we searched in every shoe store at the mall there is but failed to find one, out of luck? I don't think so because I found it in a small mall where I least expect it to be( oh well I guess always expect the unexpected, thank you mom for taking us to that mall!) To my surprise it was also on sale so I only paid 70 bucks for it instead of 130, great deal! I know it doesn't look to sexy but hey, nobody would like to look too sexy when its -25 degrees Celsius right? All wants to be warm & covered up, what about you guys, are prepared for the winter season yet?

All about the LIPS...

When I was a teenager I never really like lipstick because of the fact that it always smudge & it never fails to dry my lips. But then again as I become interested with makeup, I found out that lipstick used with moisturised soft lips can be good too & now, I`m obsess with lippies, also I finally got my lipstick holder, I really like it, the only thing is it only hold 12, oh boy. I`m just careful playing with colors since it can change the way you`ll look, either make you younger or older, ok not older but a more mature look. Just like this few pics I had from our almost 2 weeks vacation from vancouver...
,
left pic looks young & fresh while the right looks mature...

left pic looks like my normal-everyday look & the right pic? a naive & half-normal look...lol

Happy 2nd Anniversary Peebee...

Hmmm, ok so today is the 17th of November, exactly 2 years since we tied the knot. So how was the past 2 years of my marriage life? I would have to say that its great & yes we're going stronger each day. Of course there are those "salt & pepper" days over small little things which most of the time is my fault...lol I guess I'm just used of doing things my way & being so naive & stubborn at the same time, oh well, that's why I'm thankful of having a husband mature enough for both of us...lol Anyways, I know that I'm not getting younger everyday so I guess I have to learn & "grow up" in some ways to improve our relationship in the coming years. To my baby, thanks so much for all the love & support you neber fail to give my all these years since the day we met, for all the patience & understanding, I may not be the perfect wife but I am trying my best to be good for the 2 of us, oh & also ty so much for taking me to work everyday specially this winter. Again, happy 2nd Anniversary!

Van 1st Day: Shopping

So its our 1st day here in Vancouver during our 2 weeks long vacation at my father in law's place. Its nice to relax & having not to worry staying up so late because you have to work early the next day. Except for the cloudy/rainy day, everything went out good today, I just hope mom could have gone with us at the mall though, anyways well see her hopefully tomorrow. Boy it really was a shopping day, they have alot of cheap bargain at the mall, something like $5-$10 per item (summer blouse, shirts & fall/winter stuff) at the Mariposa store so even if I stay conscious about my budget I cant help myself but to spend "some"....wink, wink...lol Anyways I'll make a haul post or video when we get home, oh & also meet my newest baby...Jorgey the dog, his so cute & named after my hubby Jorge...

Mommy & cutie Jorgie after a long day of shopping...lol

Bags full of surprises...wehehe, wanna see what's inside?!?!

New addiction to my addiction...again...lol

Change is here!!??..

May I change the topic? Just so you know that I'm not all about makeup & girly stuff, let's talk bout politics today. Ehemmm.......so we all know about the historical election that have happened at the United States yesterday. And the new head of the state is the one & only who promised change to the American people, Barrack Obama Lets face it, even if you voted or not, we can't change the fact that who ever won the US' presidential election will effect not only their country but the rest of the world. So, is change already here, or is yet to come? I believe that Obama will have a great impact for the good change that we all need, & yes I think that he will make a better president than his opponent McCain, whom I pay my respect because I know that he means well too for his country, but then again, the American people have spoken & they made it loud & clear. Lets just all hope & pray for the best, that Obama will be responsible, wise & good enough in doing his job, in providing us a better future. Let's support him with an open mind & heart but also with sense & equal judgement. Remember, good change begins within us...

Thank you baby love!!!

So its Tuesday today, the 2nd day of my 2 weeks long vacation...woohoo, I just hate because I always wake up early, I guess my body & brain is so used to waking up after 6 am. Oh well, I thinks its gonna snow any day from now since we have wet snow this morning when we woke up, oh boy, in no time I'll be going to work in a cold-freezing morning...sigh! Anyways I'm free from work for 2 weeks meaning I can now paint my nails what ever color I want, so since its fall season still, I decided to paint it in dark-purple & its really cute, it matches the bag my hubby gave me yesterday as my pre-wedding anniversary gift which is on the 17th of this month. What's my gift for him? Oh a CK Eternity cologne for men, not too fancy but its the thought that counts. So thank you so much baby for this sleek gorgeous bag ever! Even though he thinks I'm crazy for wanting "another" bag again...Anyways, hope you all are enjoying your day, more updates to come soon...
,
Sorry haven't clean the sides of my nails yet in this pic that why its a bit smudgy :b
